Transit Cover

With millions of parcels being sent and delivered in Australia and wordwide on a daily basis, it's unfortunately a nature of online shopping that things sometimes do go wrong. For this reason, we provide our customers with the option to purchase transit cover for domestic (within Australia) for peace of mind. 

What is transit cover?

For an additional flat rate of $3.95 your parcel is insured for a replacement where it has been deemed lost or misplaced in transit insofar as it is recognised as such by the courier. Transit cover does not insure you for delays. 

Where confirmed lost or damaged in transit we will replace the goods at no additional cost once we receive written confirmation by Australia Post that the parcel was undelivered or damaged in transit. Transit Cover does not insure you for a refund. You will receive a replacement (or a credit note if the item has since sold out). 


What is not covered?

Transit Cover does not cover delays, slight aesthetic damage or punctures otherwise covered under product warranties. However, if you do experience any of the above please contact our customer service team, and we will assess each claim on a case by case basis.

Please note that if you choose not to purchase Transit Cover, Kooshy Kids will not be held liable or responsible for replacement, loss or damage that occurs to your parcel once your consignment is created with Australia Post or our other delivery partners.

Although we will endeavour to ensure that you are not left out of pocket, these investigations can take up to 10-20 business days to resolve, and often resolutions are not favourables.
